A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for AAEC 2025. What an absolutely incredible four dazzling days of big ideas, brilliant minds, and the kind of networking magic you just can’t fake. If you were there, you know. The energy was electric, the conversations were gold, and the memories are going to sparkle for years.
The 2025 Steering Committee have now hung up their conference lanyards and returned to their regular workdays, passing the baton (with a little glitter still on it) to the Australian Aluminium Council. For the scoop on future conferences, contact [email protected].

It is my pleasure to invite you to the 2025 Australasian Aluminium Extrusion Conference.
A comprehensive aluminium extrusion industry event that addresses many issues of the industry through its quality programming, which spans across four days. AAEC 2025 is the 7th conference and has a reputation for a commitment to excellence that is highly respected by those in and around the aluminium extrusion industry.
The invitation to submit technical papers is expected to generate a large number of local and international papers.
Over the last seven years we have seen new plants added and continuing interest in adding efficient capacity. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the Capral and G.James extrusion plants which have a high level of automation.
This is a must attend event for the industry. I look forward to seeing you in Brisbane in July 2025.
