Abstract Submissions
Submissions for Abstracts is now open, and are due by the 18th December 2024.
This includes, and not limited to, extrusion process, alloys, quality control, dies, surface finishing, furnaces, heat treatment, anodizing & finishing, practical problems solving, safety & environment, improvement case studies, and more.
Abstract Guidelines
- Abstracts must be no longer than 200 words.
- Abstracts need to be written in English.
- Industry representatives are welcome to submit an abstract for review. Submissions with a sales or commercial focus will not be accepted.. Please download and read the non-commerical technical paper guidelines.

Review & Selection Process
Once your abstract submission has been received it will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Acceptance or rejection is based on the suitability of the paper for the conference and the Australasian audience. Abstracts that do not meet the guidelines for non-commercial papers will be rejected.
Copyright & Ownership
By submitting an abstract and paper, the authors give AAEC permission to publish their abstract on the AAEC conference website and publish abstracts and papers in the AAEC conference proceedings.
AAEC does not claim copyright, which will remain with the authors. However, authors must ensure originality or obtain permission (such as from ET Foundation) so they do not submit papers for the AAEC proceedings that would breach any copyright held by other publications.
